CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 6th February, 1935.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to noon on Monday, 25th February, 1935.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 26th February, 1935, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Otorohanga County.—Wharepapa Survey District.

(Exempt from payment of rent for five years.)

Section 4, Block XI: Area, 436 acres 2 roods. Capital value, £220; half-yearly rent, £4 8s.

Weighted with £225 for improvements, consisting of a whare, yards, half-share in approximately 200 chains of boundary-fencing, approximately 100 chains of subdivisional fencing, 230 acres cleared and grassed. Payable either in cash or £35 deposit, the balance of £190 to remain on instalment mortgage over a period of twenty years with interest at 5 per cent. to a New Zealand discharged soldier, half-yearly instalment £7 11s. 4d., or with interest at 5½ per cent. to a civilian, half-yearly instalment £7 17s. 10d.

A grazing property situated on Waipari Road, three miles and a half from Ngaroma Post-office, thirty-five miles from Te Kawa Railway-station, and thirty-eight miles from Te Awamutu Dairy Factory. The soil is of pumiceous nature resting on rhyolite formation. Land is easy undulating to steep; watered by creeks and running streams. Subdivided into four paddocks. Approximately 230 acres bush land felled and grassed, 50 acres of same being badly infested with ragwort, and 180 acres practically reverted; 206 acres in natural state (bush).
