NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale for cash by public auction on the section on Tuesday, 10th December, 1935, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

Kawhia County.—Kawhia North Survey District.
SECTION 17, Block XI: Area, 1 rood 34 perches. Upset price, £10.
Situated at the corner of the Awaroa Valley Road and Harbour Road, approximately seven miles from Oparau; access by metalled road. Dry section suitable as store-site or for the erection of a petrol station.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 30th October, 1935.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 2nd December, 1935.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, 5th December, 1935, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
Otorohanga County.—Orahiri Survey District.
(Exempt from rental and interest charges for five years.*)
SECTIONS 12 and 22, Block VII: Area, 328 acres 1 rood 9 perches. Capital value, £165; half-yearly rent, £3 6s.
Weighted with £27 for improvements, consisting of cottage of three rooms and an implement-shed. This sum is payable in cash or by a deposit of £2, the balance of £25 to remain on mortgage to the Mortgage Corporation of New Zealand over a period of twenty years with interest at 4½ per cent. per annum; half-yearly instalment, 11s. 5d.
A grazing property situated on Waitomo Valley Road, six miles from Otorohanga Railway-station, Post-office, and Dairy Factory. Access is by five miles of metalled road, remainder by formed clay road. Land broken in front, fern and bush country at back; approximately 80 acres ploughable. Approximately 248 acres felled and grassed, totally reverted, balance in natural state of standing bush. Ragwort and rabbits require attention.
- No rent will be charged for five years after payment of the first half-year’s rent and no interest will be charged under the mortgage for five years provided a sum equivalent to the concession granted is expended each year in effecting permanent improvements to the land.

SECTION 27, Block II: Area, 162 acres 3 roods 8 perches.* Capital value, £50. Deposit on deferred payments, £5: Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £1 9s. 3d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £1.
Weighted with £95 (payable in cash) for improvements, consisting of clearing and grassing, 5 chains of subdivisional fencing, 36 chains of road-boundary fencing, and half-share in approximately 40 chains of boundary-fencing.
A dairying property, situated on the Whirinaki Road, sixteen miles from the Rotorua Post-office and Railway-station, twenty-one miles from Ngongotaha Dairy Factory and Saleyards. Access by metalled road and formed pumice road. Undulating land of which 75 per cent. is ploughable; watered by a running stream. Approximately 30 acres of worn-out pasture, balance in natural state.
- Area is subject to slight alteration on completion of survey.
