Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

P URSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Native land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

MOANAKAPITI-HUHURAUMATI D 4a 1 Block: Area, 2 roods 14 perches. Block XVI, Waihou Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of October, 1935.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL those areas in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 295 acres 2 roods 17 perches, and described as follows:—

All that area containing by admeasurement 208 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, being Subdivision 2 of Section 4, Block VII, Waro Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by the Tongaporutu-Mangaroa Road, 4140·4 links; towards the east by the Waitaanga South Road 6535·6 links; towards the south by Section 2, Block VII aforesaid, 2924·1 links; and towards the west by Section 3, Block VII aforesaid, 2093·5 links; and Subdivision 1 of Section 4 aforesaid, 5534·5 links.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 86 acres 3 roods 28 perches, more or less, being Section 11, Block VII, Waro Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by part of Section 25, Block VII, Waro Survey District, 2049·4 links, a public road, 100 links, and the other part of Section 25, 344·0 links; towards the east by Section 12, Block VII aforesaid, 3637·5 links; towards the south by a permanent State forest (Gazette, 1933, page 1215), 2443·8 links; and towards the west by the Waitaanga South Road, 3498·6 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 51/4, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of October, 1935.
