Storage at Foxton.

Goods not conveyed by rail left on railway premises at Foxton awaiting shipment will be charged for the time during which they are so left at the rate of 2s. 10d. per ton per week or part of a week (minimum charge, 9d. per week or part of a week). Charges will be computed on weight or measurement at the option of the Department. Such goods will be on railway premises entirely at owner’s risk. The Department reserves the right to decline to allow such goods to be brought or to remain on the premises of the railway.

Port Traffic, Wellington Station.

Tallying wool, hemp, or tow at Harbour Board sheds or at ships, per bale 0 1½
Tallying goods, other than wool, hemp, or tow, at Harbour Board sheds or at ships, per ton, weight or measurement at the option of the Department. Minimum charge, 9d. . . . . . . . . 0 9

Basic slag and tobacco-leaf ex ship at Wellington wharves, loaded direct into railway wagons, will be charged 1s. per ton for haulage from wharves to railway yard. This haulage charge when applied to tobacco-leaf will be computed on measurement.

Levin and Co.’s, Ltd., Private Siding at Kaiwarra.

The following charges will be made for the haulage of wool, sheep-skins, rabbit-skins, hemp, and tow between Wellington and Levin and Co.’s, Ltd., private siding at Kaiwarra :—

Traffic between the Emulsified Asphalt Co.’s, Ltd., private siding at Kaiwarra and Wellington will be charged 3s. per ton.

Gisborne Section.

Any station on the Gisborne Section	Gisborne	Classes A, B, C, and D	Pro rata of the classified rates. Minimum charges as follow :— Park Racecourse to Puha (inclusive) to or from Gisborne, 1s. Waikohu to Motuhora (inclusive) to or from Gisborne, 1s. 6d.

	Gisborne	Road metal	6s. per ton.
Motuhora or Matawai	Gisborne	Log timber	£5 10s. per U wagon.
Motuhora	Otoko	Road metal	3s. 5d. per ton.
	Mahaki	Road metal	4s. 2d. per ton.
	Waikohu	Road metal	4s. 4d. per ton.
	Puha	Road metal	4s. 5d. per ton.

Westport Section.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, and D will be charged as Class A.
Except as otherwise provided, coal and coal-dross consigned to Westport for shipment will be charged at the following rates, which include weighing and discharging by cranes into ships. Minimum quantity, 7 tons per four-wheeled wagon, except in the case of wagons passing over the Denniston incline in which case the minimum quantity will be 6 tons per four-wheeled wagon :—
