The rate of interest on any debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from the 31st October, 1935.
Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the County Clerk, Rotorua County Council, Rotorua.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
———
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Rotorua County Loans Conversion Order, 1935, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges or instalment of principal and interest in respect of the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eleven-sixteenths of a penny (11/16d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 15th day of September in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 31st day of October, 1967, or until such securities are fully paid off.”
I certify that the above is a true copy and a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Rotorua County Council at a special meeting held on the 9th day of October, 1935.

ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE PHARMACY BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is my intention to proceed on Thursday, the 21st day of November, 1935, to the election of two registered pharmaceutical chemists of New Zealand to serve as members of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand, in the place of the members who retire on the 31st day of December, 1935, and are eligible for re-election. Members will require to be elected as follows:—
Two members for the Central District, to be elected by the registered pharmaceutical chemists residing within the District of Wellington, the boundaries of which are the same as those of the Provincial Districts of Wellington, Hawke’s Bay, Nelson, and Marlborough. The retiring members are JAMES CHARLES BURBERY and H. J. STANLEY RICKARD, who are eligible for re-election.
Nominations will close at the office of the Registrar, 59 Cambridge Terrace, Wellington, C. 3, at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the 30th day of October, 1935.
Forms of nomination may be obtained on application to the Registrar or Deputy Registrars.

In the matter of the Estate of TE RARO TE RANGIKATUAKINA KEREHOMA (otherwise known as Rangi Kerehoma), late of Hastings (deceased).
WHEREAS pursuant to an order made by the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland on the 10th day of October, 1935, it was directed that inquiries be made before the Registrar of the said Court as to whether Te Raro te Rangikatuakina Kerehoma (otherwise known as Rangi Kerehoma) (deceased), left him surviving any child or children and/or issue of deceased children other than his daughter Reremoana Minnie Kerehoma: Notice is hereby given to all persons claiming to be children or issue of deceased children of the said deceased to prove their claims to the satisfaction of the said Registrar on or before the 20th day of November, 1935: And notice is further given that for the purpose of receiving such claims and hearing evidence in support thereof the said Registrar will hold a sitting at the Courthouse, Masterton, on the 12th day of November, 1935, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, and at the Courthouse, Hastings, on the 15th day of November, 1935, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon.

NOTE.—The above-named Rangi Kerehoma died in Featherston Military Camp on the 3rd day of November, 1918. On the 4th January, 1910, he married Paretahi Chadwick at Hastings. Prior to his said marriage he lived at Masterton and Greytown, and after the marriage at Hastings.
“Children” or “issue” includes any person who according to the practice of the Native Land Court for the time being would be entitled to succeed to the real or personal property of the deceased as a child of the deceased, or to the real or personal property of a child of the deceased, as the case may be.
