Classification of Road in Mackenzie County.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Charles Edward Macmillan, for the Minister of Transport, do hereby declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in Mackenzie County, shall belong to the respective class of roads shown in the said Schedule.

MACKENZIE COUNTY.

ROAD classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons :—

Classification of Roads in Whangarei County.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Charles Edward Macmillan, for the Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Whangarei County Council's proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Whangarei County.

SCHEDULE.

WHANGAREI COUNTY.

ROADS classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons :—

Main Highways.

Kirikopuni-Parakao Main Highway No. 459 (all that portion within Whangarei County).

Whakapara-Russell Main Highway No. 394 (all that portion within Whangarei County).

County Roads.

Parua Bay - Pataua.

Waiotira - Toka Toka (all that portion within Whangarei County).

Waipu Cove - Mangawai (all that portion within Whangarei County).

Purua - Riponui.

Maungatapere Turnoff - Kaitara.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1928, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Brunner, taken on the 16th January, 1935, on the proposal of the Brunner Borough Council to borrow the sum of one thousand pounds for the purpose of providing the Council's share of the cost of sealing (including reconstruction, &c.) approximately 4 miles 24 chains of the Inangahua Junction—Woheka Main Highway within the Borough—

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was . . 50
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was . . 9

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
