- Cancelling the Reservations over Reserves in Town of Waitekauri, Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of January, 1935.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for a site for post and telegraph offices and buildings over the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby cancel the reservation for a police-station over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SECTION 10, Town of Waitekauri: Area, 1 rood 35 perches, more or less.

- Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Town of Stratford, Taranaki Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of January, 1935.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a public library and institute site:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a site for a drill-hall:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a public library and institute site to a site for a drill-hall.

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a municipal reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a drill-shed and armoury-site to a municipal reserve.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 1 rood.
Being Section 18, Block II, Town of Fortrose.
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 88838, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

- Licensing James McVeagh, William McHardy, Michael James Jones, and George Justin Browne to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land below Low-water Mark at Brown’s Bay, Waiheke Island, as a Site for a Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of January, 1935.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit James McVeagh, William McHardy, Michael James Jones, and George Justin Browne, all of Auckland (hereinafter called “the licensees,” which term shall include their executors, administrators, and assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy all that part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Brown’s Bay, Waiheke Island, shown on plan marked M.D. 5200, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of the use of the wharf as shown on the said plan for a term of fourteen years computed from the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and doth hereby prescribe that the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken for the use of the said wharf.
