Lands permanently reserved.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the three-hundred-and-sixtieth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of one month but not later than six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:

And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the Warrant the date of which is specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notification of which was published in the Gazette specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.

Amendment to Polling-place under Electoral Act, 1927.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Electoral Act, 1927, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the polling-place as shown against the electoral district the name of which is specified in the following Schedule.


SCHEDULE.

LYTTELTON ELECTORAL DISTRICT.

CHATHAM Islands, Waitangi, old Post-office Building, to be altered to Chatham Islands, Waitangi, the Courthouse.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 5th day of July, 1935.

Land temporarily reserved in the Wellington Land District for Recreation Purposes.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written for recreation purposes.


SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 29 acres 0 roods 27 perches, more or less, being part of Section 47, Harbour Registration District, situated in Block I, Pencarrow Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Section 46 for a distance of 863 links; towards the east by other part of Section 47 for distances of 545·7 links and 1180·5 links; towards the south-east by other part of Section 47 for a distance of 2274·5 links; and towards the north-west by Sections 48 and 43 for distances of 1166·7 links and 1322·9 links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/588, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 6th day of July, 1935.
