And whereas the Governor-General is satisfied that by the laws of the Irish Free State compensation for accidents is payable to the relatives of a deceased worker, although they are resident in New Zealand:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section fifty-nine of the Workers' Compensation Act, 1922, doth hereby declare that relatives of a deceased worker resident in the Irish Free State shall have the same rights and remedies under the Workers' Compensation Act, 1922, as if resident in New Zealand.

The Eastern Sides of Portions of Mudie Street and Tama Street, in the Borough of Lower Hutt, exempted from the Provisions of Section 123 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of July, 1935.

Present:

THE HON. SIR ALFRED RANSOM PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Lower Hutt Borough Council on the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, viz.:

"That the Lower Hutt Borough Council, being the local authority in whom the fee-simple of all streets in the borough is vested, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply along the Mudie and Tama Streets frontages of land owned by Mrs. Mary Jane Routley, being part D.P. 5483, and part Section 21, Hutt Registration District, as shown on the plan attached hereto";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern sides of the portions of Mudie Street and Tama Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.

The eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Lower Hutt, known as Mudie Street, fronting part of the land shown on D.P. 5483, being part Section 21, Hutt R.D.

Also the eastern side of all that portion of street in the said land district and borough known as Tama Street, fronting part of the land shown on D.P. 5483, being part Section 21, Hutt R.D.

As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89707, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Eastern Side of Portion of Royal Terrace, in the Borough of West Harbour, exempted from the Provisions of Section 123 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

"That the West Harbour Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the West Harbour Borough, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to portion of the eastern side of Royal Terrace, in the said West Harbour Borough, where such portion of the street abuts Allotment 43, Township of Rothesay";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of Royal Terrace (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

The eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, Borough of West Harbour, known as Royal Terrace, fronting Allotment 43, Township of Rothesay. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89693, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The Western Side of Portion of York Street (Oxford Township), in the County of Oxford, exempted from the Provisions of Section 123 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of July, 1935.

Present:

THE HON. SIR ALFRED RANSOM PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Oxford County Council on the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, viz.:

"The Oxford County Council, being the local authority having control of the streets and roads in Block VIII of the Oxford Survey District, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the street known as York Street, adjoining all that parcel of land containing 1 rood 7-5 perches, situated in Block VIII of the Oxford Survey District, and being part of Rural Section 1750, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 378, folio 34, Canterbury Land Registry;"

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of the portion of York Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

The western side of all that portion of road, situated in the Canterbury Land District, County of Oxford, known as York Street, fronting part Rural Section 1750, Block VIII, Oxford Survey District, being all of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 378, folio 34, Christchurch Registry. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89770, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
