In the matter of ILFORD LIMITED, a company incorporated in England.

PURSUANT to section 338 of the Companies Act, 1933, Ilford Limited hereby gives notice of its intention to cease to have a place of business in New Zealand after the expiry of three months from the date of the first publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette—namely, from the 27th day of June, 1935.

TE AROHA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Te Aroha Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1935, the Te Aroha Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Te Aroha Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order whether in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order or to provide for cash premium payments, and also the interest, sinking fund, instalments of principal and interest, and other charges in respect of the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Te Aroha Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one shilling and fourpence (1s. 4d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of August, 1965, or until such securities are fully paid off.”

We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Te Aroha Borough Council at a special meeting held on Wednesday, the 19th day of June, 1935.

MEDICAL REGISTRATION.

I, FRANK LEO HUTTER, M.B., Ch.B., 1935, now residing in Palmerston North, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 18th July next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Auckland.

TUWHARETOA TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED.

IN LIQUIDATION.

PLEASE take notice that a meeting of creditors of the above company will be held at the registered office of the company at Waihi, Tokaanu, on Monday, the 15th day of July, 1935, at 11.30 o’clock in the forenoon, to consider and pass such resolution as the creditors shall think fit in respect of a meeting to be held at 11 a.m. on the same day, when the following extraordinary resolution is to be considered by shareholders:—

“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it be wound up, and that MAURICE VINCENT BATES, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator.”
