Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve near Parawai to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 0 roods 18 perches.

Part railway land, Certificate of Title, Volume 573, folio 254 (part Tapatihe Block), Block VIII, Thames Survey District, Thames County. (S.O. 23794.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3510, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of June, 1935.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 7 acres 2 roods 27 perches.

Part of railway land (parts Section 13 and part Section 15, Block V, and part Section 9 and part Application 6773, Block VI).

Situated in Wyndham Survey District, Southland County. (S.O. 64/119.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3507, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of June, 1935.
