THE following is a list of persons and firms licensed under the regulations under the date hereof to deal in all dangerous drugs as defined in the Schedule to the Dangerous Drugs Act. This list does not contain the names of registered chemists, registered medical practitioners, registered dentists, or registered veterinary surgeons who are authorized to deal in dangerous drugs and who do not require to hold a special license issued under the regulations :—

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenure.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 29th May, 1935.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on optional tenure under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 12 o’clock noon on Monday, 24th June, 1935.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 25th June, 1935, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Piako County.—Hapuakohe Survey District.

SECTION 6, Block IV: Area, 470 acres 3 roods 27 perches. Capital value, £235. Deposit on deferred payments, £10: Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £7 6s. 3d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £4 14s.

Weighted with £550 for improvements, consisting of a three-roomed whare, clearing and grassing, approximately 50 chains of road boundary-fencing, 68 chains of subdivisional fencing, and half-share in 200 chains of boundary-fencing. This sum is payable in cash or by a deposit of £25, the balance of £525 to remain on instalment mortgage payable in the case of a New Zealand discharged soldier over a period of thirty-six years and a half by instalments of principal and interest (5 per cent.) combined totalling £15 15s. per half-year, and in the case of a civilian over a period of thirty-four years and a half by instalments of principal and interest (5½ per cent.) combined totalling £17 1s. 3d. per half-year.

A grazing property, situated on Forest Reserve side-road, off Tahuna–Ohinewai Main Road, twenty-one miles from Morrinsville or Ohinewai Railway-stations; access by metalled road.

Undulating to steep and hilly broken land of second-class quality bush country, approximately 300 acres felled and grassed (now reverting), 100 acres felled (in reverted condition), balance in natural state of standing bush; watered by permanent streams.
