Where the size of a motor-trailer is such as to require the exclusive use of a four-wheeled wagon the minimum charge will be as for a four-wheeled carriage (Regulation 83, General Scale of Charges).

GOODS.

81. Horses (Racehorses, Hunters, Polo-ponies, &c.).

By omitting from paragraph 11 the following:—

Where more than two horses are forwarded the charges will be computed as for four horses at the rates specified in paragraph 5 of this regulation.

101. Weighing.

By adding to paragraph 3 the following words:—

The reweighing of goods in truck loads will be at the option of the Department.

WHARVES.

134. Ranganui, Te Hana, and Rangiriri Wharves.

By omitting from the regulation wherever it appears any reference to Te Hana Wharf.

SCALE OF CHARGES FOR THE LAKE WAKATIPU STEAMER SERVICE.

22. Schedule of Rates.

By adding after the words "Mining props" the words "not exceeding 7 ft. in length. The charges on mining props exceeding 7 ft. in length will be increased in the proportion that the actual length bears to 7 ft."

26. Heavy Machinery, &c., including Cranage.

By omitting paragraph 1, and inserting in lieu thereof the following:—

  1. From Kingston to Queenstown-Frankton, or vice versa, or to calling-places east or west of Queenstown to Queenstown or Kingston.
