K.K. FOOTWEAR, LTD.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of K.K. Footwear, Limited, held on Wednesday, the 15th day of May, 1935, it was resolved as an extraordinary resolution by an entry in the minute-book of the company, signed as provided by subsection (1) of section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933—
(1) That the company cannot by reason of its liability continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
(2) That in pursuance of section 235 of the Companies Act, 1933, Mr. WILLIAM THOMAS ROBINS BOGGS, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby nominated as liquidator of the company.
And that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to sections 234 and 300 (7) at the Chamber of Commerce, Swanson Street, Auckland, on Thursday, the 23rd day of May, 1935, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with the list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE is hereby given that as the Taranaki Co-operative Egg Society, Limited (1920/1), has ceased to exist, the registration of the society has been cancelled under section 8 of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company, held at Invercargill on the 9th day of May, 1935, the following extraordinary resolution was passed :—
“That by reason of the company’s liabilities it cannot continue its business, and that in view of the circumstances the company be wound up under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933, relating to a creditors’ voluntary winding up.”

WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Waiapu County Loans Conversion Order (No. 1), 1934, the Waiapu County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Waiapu County Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order, whether in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order or for the purpose of providing for each premium payments, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges in respect of the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the Waiapu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of July and the 1st day of December in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of December, 1955, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”
Dated this 11th day of December, 1934.
Certified as a true copy of a resolution passed by the Waiapu County Council at a meeting held by it on the 11th day of December, 1934, at Te Pua.

TARARUA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Pahiatua Borough Redemption Loan of £7,700 (1935).
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) enabling it in that behalf, the Tararua Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £7,700 known as the Pahiatua Borough Redemption Loan, £7,700, 1935 (being the outstanding liability of the Board in respect of a loan of £10,000 raised by the Pahiatua Borough Council, subsequently taken over by the Board, which loan matured on 31st March, 1935), the said Tararua Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifteenth (1/15th) of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the district comprising the Counties of Pahiatua, Eketahuna, and Mauriceville, and the Boroughs of Pahiatua and Eketahuna, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
