I, CHARLES HERBERT WYATT, Chairman of the Birkenhead Fire Board, do hereby certify that at a special meeting of the said Board convened for the purpose and held on Wednesday, the 10th day of April, 1935, it was resolved pursuant to subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, to issue new securities in conversion of existing securities to which the Birkenhead Fire Board Loans Conversion Order, 1935, applies.

And I further certify that the aforesaid resolution was duly confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Board held on Friday, the 26th day of April, 1935.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROADS AND CLOSE PORTIONS OF ROADS.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Counties Act, 1920.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work--namely, altering the course of a road--and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and, further, that it is proposed to close the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Notice is further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken for roads and of the portions of road proposed to be closed is deposited in the public offices of the Clerk to the said Council at Ngaruawaria, and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands or by the closing of the said roads who have any well-founded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or to the closing of the said roads must state their objections in writing and send the same on or before the 24th day of June, 1935, being a date not more than forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Raglan County Council at the Council Chambers, Waingaro Road, Ngaruawaria.

NOTICE is hereby given, and I certify, that the Raglan County Council did on the ninth day of April, 1935, pass, and did on the twenty-fourth day of April, 1935, confirm, resolutions for the conversion of the loans set out in the Raglan County Loans Conversion Orders, 1935 (Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4), and the securities represented thereby into new securities under and by virtue of the powers contained in the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and in Orders in Council cited as the Raglan County Loans Conversion Order, 1935 (Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4), respectively, which Orders in Council bear date the twenty-fifth day of March, 1935, and appear on pages 999 to 1016 inclusive of the Gazette dated the twenty-ninth day of March, 1935.
