Classification of Streets in Putaruru Town District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, James Alexander Young, Acting Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke the Warrant classifying streets in Putaruru Town District, dated the 4th day of March, 1930, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 17 of the 6th day of the same month, and do hereby declare that the streets described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Putaruru Town District, shall belong to the respective classes of streets shown in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
PUTARURU TOWN DISTRICT.
STREETS classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons :—
Waitoa–Taupo Main Highway No. 19 (all that portion within Putaruru Town District).
Kihikihi–Arapuni–Putaruru Main Highway No. 314 (all that portion within Putaruru Town District).

Streets classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons :—
Arapuni Street, Back Lichfield Road, Barnett Street, Bent Road, Buckland Road, Campbell Road, Carbury Road, Central Street, Duke Street, Glenshea Street, Henderson Street, High Street, Junction Street, Kensington Street (that portion from its junction with Waitoa–Taupo Main Highway to its junction with Marchant Street), MacKenzie Street, Marchant Street, Margaret Street, Overdale Road (from its junction with Kihikihi–Arapuni–Putaruru Main Highway to the northern boundary of the Town District), Prospect Street, Scotia Glen Road, Short Street, Terrace Street.

KOWAI COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.
Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers in the North and Amberley Ridings of the County of Kowai held on the eleventh day of April, 1935, on the proposal of the Kowai County Council to borrow the sum of £2,000 for the erection of a public hall at Amberley and all necessary work incidental thereto, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 231, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 38: And I hereby declare the proposal to be carried.
