Notice altering the Boundaries of the Otago Mining District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section eight of the Mining Act, 1926, it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time by Proclamation alter the boundaries of any mining district: And whereas it is desirable that the lands specified in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Otago Mining District:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eight of the Mining Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, alter the boundaries of the Otago Mining District by excluding therefrom the lands particularly described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by estimation 43 acres, more or less, being parts of Blocks I and II, Town of Ranfurly, and being all the area occupied by Prospecting Licenses 5280 and 5291, such licenses having now expired. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked Mines N. 6/4/18, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Mines, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1935.

Adding an Outer Area to the Golden Bay Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that from the date hereof the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be an outer area of the Golden Bay Electric-power District.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, comprising all that portion of the Takaka County as at present constituted not included in the Golden Bay Electric-power District, and the whole of the Collingwood County as at present constituted with the exception of Farewell Spit. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89322, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, being thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of May, 1935.

Crown Land set apart for the Development of Water-power, Arapuni Scheme (Linesmen’s Cottage-sites, Tahora), in Block X, Poutatu Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power, Arapuni Scheme (linesmen’s cottage-sites), and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 acre.

Situated in Block X, Poutatu Survey District.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89228, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1935.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of May, 1935.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Tauranga Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
