Additional Land at Rockfort taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway (Raetihi Branch).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Raetihi Branch of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Rockfort in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood 5 perches.
Being Lot 3, Mangatuakei Scenic Reserve, part Section 28, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District, Borough of Ohakune. (S.O. 83/38.)
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3475, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1935.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921β22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted on the ninth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes ; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall from and after the day of the gazetting hereof cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 233 acres 0 roods 6 perches, more or less, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 1628, situated in Block XVI, Mahinapua Survey District. As the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/98/69B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1935.

Land in the Canterbury Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land :
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto has been disposed of by way of sale for cash and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national-endowment land as from the fifth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
Part Rural Section 36722, Block II, Mount Peel Survey District : Area, 4 acres 2 roods 31Β·7 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1935.
