Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Orari Survey District,
Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
April, 1935.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for a gravel-pit: And
whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation
over such land shall be changed to a reserve for river-
protection purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection
one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare
that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby changed from a gravel-pit to a reserve for
river-protection purposes.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 2156, Block VIII, Orari Survey District: Area
6 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less.

Consenting to Stopping Portions of a Road in Block IX, Tapapa
Survey District, Matamata County.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
April, 1935.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the Matamata County Council stopping
the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road permitted to be
stopped:—

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
1 0 19·1} Portions of Lot 1, D.P. 8073, being part
4 3 29·2} Hinuera No. 1b Section 2.

Situated in Block IX, Tapapa Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 27226.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89263,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

in the City of Wellington.
