Napier northwards (portion of Wairoa Section), and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Wairoa County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1935.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier northwards), portion of Wairoa Section.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.
