NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, the following resolution was entered in the shareholders’ minute-book on the 30th day of March, 1935 :—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. HARRY ESMOND GREIG, A.P.A.N.Z., of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and hereby is appointed liquidator.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company passed the following resolution on the twenty-eighth day of March, 1935 :—

“ That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

OHAKUNE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
——

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Ohakune Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 1), the Ohakune Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Ohakune Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said the Ohakune Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two shillings and fivepence (2s. 5d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the first day of April, 1955, or until such securities are fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a properly convened meeting of the Ohakune Borough Council held on the 1st April, 1935.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
——

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Ohakune Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 2), the Ohakune Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the new securities authorized to be issued by the Ohakune Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the instalments of principal and interest in respect of the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said the Ohakune Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence three farthings (2·75d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the fourth day of April, 1962, or until such securities are fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a properly convened meeting of the Ohakune Borough Council held on the 1st April, 1935.
