THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

of Title, Volume 90, folio 217, in the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for municipal buildings purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which an undivided quarter share is taken: 1·76 perches.
Being portion of Lot 16, D.P. 828, and being part Section 210, Town of Wellington.

Situated in the City of Wellington. (S.O. 2974.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89037, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of April, 1935.

Altering the Boundaries of Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne Land Districts, Registration Districts, and Land Registration Districts.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of April, 1935.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by subsection two (d) of section twenty-nine of the Land Act, 1924, subsection one of section four of the Deeds Registration Act, 1908, and subsection two of section three of the Land Transfer Act, 1915, it is enacted that the Governor-General, by Order in Council, may from time to time alter the boundaries of any land district, registration district, and land registration district, respectively:

And whereas it is desirable to alter the boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne Land Districts, Registration Districts, and Land Registration Districts:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the hereinbefore-in-part-recited Acts and every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby order and declare that from and after the date hereof the boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay Land District, the Hawke’s Bay Registration District, and the Hawke’s Bay Land Registration District shall be as described in the First Schedule hereto, and the boundaries of the Gisborne Land District, the Gisborne Registration District, and the Gisborne Land Registration District shall be as described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT, THE HAWKE’S BAY REGISTRATION DISTRICT, AND THE HAWKE’S BAY LAND REGISTRATION DISTRICT.

ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Waimata River; thence proceeding north-westerly up the middle of that river to and along the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block XIII, Tautane Survey District, to Trig. Station “39” (Taumata); thence by right lines along the southern boundary of Weber Survey District through Trig. Station “O” (Otuarehua), “41A” (Arthur), “P” (Pukehou), to Trig. Station “C” (Wahataura); thence by a right line along the southern boundaries of Tahoraite and Woodville Survey Districts to the Manawatu River; thence down the middle of that river to the western boundary produced of a railway reserve; thence north-easterly along that boundary, the north-western boundaries of Sections 11 and 12, Block XIV, Woodville Survey District, Section 11, a public road, Section 10, Block XVI, Woodville Survey District, and forest reserve to Trig. Station 60A; thence generally northerly along the summit of the Ruahine Range to the northern boundary of the Awarua Block; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the Makirikiri Stream; thence northerly along the middle of that stream to and along the middle of the Ikaawetea Stream, to and along the middle of the Taruarau River, to and along the middle of the Te Waiamaru Stream and the north-western boundary of the Timahanga Block to the Ngaruroro River; thence up the middle of that river to the southern boundary of the Kaimanawa No. 1A Block; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Kaimanawa Block and the middle of the Oamaru River to its confluence with the Mohaka River; thence down the middle of the said Mohaka River to the south boundary of the Wharetoto Block; thence easterly along the south boundary and northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Wharetoto Block to the north-western corner of the Omupapamaro Block; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Omupapamaro Block and the northern boundary of the Tarawera Block to the Waipunga River; thence up the middle of that river to and along the northern boundary of the Tatara-a-kina Block to and up the Te Hoe River to the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Waitara Survey District; thence along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 1 to the Mohaka River, and down the middle of that river to the north-western boundary produced of the Mohaka Block; thence along that boundary, and generally easterly along the northern boundaries of the said Mohaka Block, Section 1, Block VI, Waihua Survey District, Lots 1 and 2 of Section 1, Block II, Waihua Survey District, Section 1, Block III, Waihua Survey District; thence along the western and northern boundaries of Section 1, Block XVIII, Taramarama Survey District; across a public road, again along the northern boundary of the said Section 1 and the abuttal of a public road; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, Block XIX, Taramarama Survey District, to the Tutaekuri River; thence down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Waiau River; thence down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Wairoa River; thence down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Kauhauroa Stream; thence up the middle of the Kauhauroa Stream and Maromakau Stream to the north-eastern boundary of part of Lot 4 on plan 4592, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said part of Lot 4, the north-eastern boundary of Section 8, Block XIV, Opoiti Survey District; thence along the north-western, the south-western, and south-eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block XVIII, Opoiti Survey District; thence generally easterly along the northern boundaries of Lots 5 and 6 on plan No. 1428, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, along the western boundaries of Sections 2 and 1, Block XV, Opoiti Survey District, the northern boundaries of the said Section 1 and Subdivision 2D, Hereheretau Block, to the Makaretu Stream; thence up the middle of that stream to and along the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block XVI, Opoiti Survey District, the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 7, Block XIII, the south-eastern boundary of Section 3, the south-western and western boundaries of Section 4, Block IX, Nuhaka North Survey District, to the Tukemakihi Stream; thence up that stream to and along the north-western boundary of Section 8, Block IX, Nuhaka North Survey District, to and across Mangapahi Road; thence easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries of Small Grazing-run No. 76A to the western corner of Small Grazing-run No. 40; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Small Grazing-run No. 40 to Trig. Station “J” (Pukehou); thence generally south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Small Grazing-run No. 40, Section 1, Block XI, Nuhaka North Survey District; thence generally southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Sections 1 and 4 to and across a public road to the northern corner of Section 3 (E.R.); thence by the eastern boundary of the said Section 3, Block XI, Nuhaka North Survey District, the eastern boundaries of Sections 12 and 20, Block XV, Nuhaka North Survey District, the northern and eastern boundaries of Paritu No. 3 Block, the northern boundaries of Paritu Nos. 2B 2 and 2A Blocks to the Waiau River; thence down the middle of that river to and along the northern boundaries of Takararoa Block to the sea at Ngakau-o-te-Paritu; thence generally in a southerly direction along the sea-coast to the point of commencement, including all adjacent islands.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT, THE GISBORNE REGISTRATION DISTRICT, AND THE GISBORNE LAND REGISTRATION DISTRICT.

ALL that area bounded towards the west generally by a right line commencing at a point in middle of the entrance to the Ohiwa Harbour, and proceeding thence by the aforesaid right line to the middle of the Nuhukou River; thence
