ERRATA.—On page 786 of Gazette No. 20 of 28th March, 1935, relating to “Apportionment of Representation on Hospital Boards,” amend notice to read: Ashburton County as a contributory district to Ashburton Hospital District, and Geraldine County as a contributory district to South Canterbury Hospital District.

In Gazette No. 20, 28th March, 1935, at page 818, in Crown Lands Notice advertising land in Hawke’s Bay Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease, read Tuesday, 9th April, in place of Tuesday, 10th April.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly :

Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood 24 perches. Portion of railway land (part Section 22), Block VII, Teviot Survey District, Tuapeka County.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3432, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of April, 1935.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of streets :

Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become streets, and that the said streets shall be under the control of the West Harbour Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
