THE AKATARAWA SAWMILLING COMPANY,

IN LIQUIDATION.
A GENERAL meeting of the Akatarawa Sawmilling Company, Limited (in Liquidation), will be held at the office of the liquidator, Hamilton Chambers, 201 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Monday, 8th April, 1935, at 4 p.m., for the purpose of bringing before the meeting an account showing the manner in which the liquidation has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of determining how the books and records of the company shall be disposed of.

ELTHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Eltham Borough Council Loans Conversion Order (No. 2), 1934, the Eltham Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of new securities authorized to be issued by the Eltham Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, principal, and other charges in respect of the unconverted securities in respect of such loans, the said Eltham Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-fifths of a penny ($d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Eltham, and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable half-yearly on the 25th day of September and the 25th day of March in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 25th day of March, 1960, or until all such securities are fully paid off."

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE TALLABURN HYDRAULIC SLUICING COMPANY, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company held at Miller's Flat on Wednesday, the 6th day of March, 1935, the following special resolution was duly passed:
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. J. RIACH, of Miller's Flat, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company for the purpose of such winding up."

IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of RAINBOW ART DYERS AND DRY CLEANERS, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 1st March, 1935, the above company passed the following resolutions:

"That by reason of its liabilities and in accordance with the request by creditors, the company cannot continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up.

"That in accordance with the recommendation of the meeting of the company's creditors held on 26th February, 1935, Mr. R. de G. Robilliard, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and is hereby nominated liquidator for the purpose of such winding up."
All persons or companies having claims against the above-named company are required to send in full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before 10th April, 1935, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above-named company, held on the twenty-eighth day of February, 1935, the following resolution was passed:
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that ERNEST DAWSON WILKINSON, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Rating Act, 1925, and by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Putaruru Town Board Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Putaruru Town Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Putaruru Town Board under the above-mentioned Act and Order whether in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, or for the purpose of providing for cash premium payments, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Putaruru Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence farthing (2Β½d.) in
