Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Birkenhead.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 13th March, 1935.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Borough of Birkenhead are hereby defined as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by Order in Council made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, dated the 3rd day of September, 1934, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 68 of the 6th day of September, 1934.
SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF BIRKENHEAD.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded towards the north and north-east by Hellyer's Creek and Karipatiki Creek from Waitemata Harbour to the road at the head of the latter creek, and by that road to Section 126, Parish of Takapuna, by that section and Section 127 to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lots 14, 15, and 16 of Section 121, Parish of Takapuna ; thence to and along that boundary to a point in line with the northernmost angle of Glen Avenue; thence to that angle and southerly and easterly along the eastern and northern side of Glen Avenue aforesaid to Glenfield Road; thence along the western side of Glenfield Road to a point in line with the southern side of Pupuke Road forming the northern boundary of Section 3, Parish of Takapuna; thence to and along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 3 aforesaid; thence along the eastern boundary of Sections 3, 2, and 1, Parish of Takapuna, to the northern side of Onewa Road; thence along a right line to the north-western corner of Lot 22 of Section 56, Takapuna Parish; thence along the western boundary of Lots 22, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, and part 23 to the north-eastern boundary of Section 58, Takapuna Parish; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the south-western boundary of a recreation reserve of 22 acres reclaimed from Little Shoal Bay; thence south-easterly generally along that boundary to Little Shoal Bay; thence by Little Shoal Bay and the Waitemata Harbour to the easternmost corner of Lot 4 on plan deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland under number 25092; thence along the southern boundary of the said Lot 4 to the Waitemata Harbour; thence again by the Waitemata Harbour to Hellyer's Creek, the point of commencement.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said persons (either by their own or any assumed or fictitious names), or addressed to any of the addresses in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Revocation of Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence for Mr. Wally Ingram, Palmerston North.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand being satisfied that the person whose name and address is shown in the Schedule hereunder is no longer engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, hereby rescinds, so far as it concerns the said person, the order made on the 4th day of December, 1934, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, prohibiting the issue of money-orders in favour of and the transmission within New Zealand of postal packets addressed to the said and other persons, and orders that money-orders for the said person shall be issued, and that postal packets for the said person shall be registered, forwarded, and delivered in the usual course.

Notice to make Returns of Land under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923.
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the above Act and the regulations made thereunder, every person and company within the meaning of the said Act, whether a taxpayer or not, being owner of land in New Zealand, is hereby required to make and furnish to me, in the prescribed form, returns of such land as at 12 o'clock noon on the 31st day of March, 1935.
If the total unimproved value of the land of any person or company, as assessed under the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, does not exceed Β£500, a return of land need not be furnished.
And, further, notice is hereby given that such returns shall in all cases be delivered at or forwarded to the office of the Commissioner of Taxes in the Government Buildings at Wellington, C. 1, on or before the 9th day of April, 1935.
