Stopping Government Roads in Blocks XIII and XIV, Waihou Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto, such roads being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of roads hereby stopped:—
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
6 0 23 Crown land, Block XIII.
30 0 0 Crown land, Blocks XIII and XIV.

Situated in Waihou Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 27230.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 88622, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of March, 1935.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 19·25 perches.

Being part Lot 59, D.P. 10898, being part Tunatahi Block.

Situated in Block XV, Kaihu Survey District (Auckland R.D.), (Borough of Dargaville). (S.O. 27955.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89151, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of March, 1935.

Regulation abolishing Export Duty on Copra exported from the Cook Islands other than Niue.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of March, 1935.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the Gazette of the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, at page 2562, regulations were made under the Cook Islands Act, 1915, prescribing a duty to be paid on all copra exported from the Cook Islands:

And whereas by Order in Council dated the twentieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and published in the Gazette of the fifth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, at page 953, the rate of duty on copra exported from any of the Cook Islands, other than Niue, was suspended for a period ending on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby prescribe that during the period commencing on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five (both dates inclusive), no duty shall be payable upon copra exported from any of the Cook Islands, other than Niue, but that thereafter the duty upon copra imposed by the said regulations—namely, a duty of £1 per ton—shall again be payable.
