NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company by special resolution passed on the 18th day of December, 1934, resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and the undersigned was appointed Liquidator.

All persons, firms, or corporations having claims against the above company are hereby required on or before the 21st day of January, 1935, to lodge proof of same.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of HARDWARE LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that at the meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company held at Auckland on Thursday, the 20th day of December, 1934, the following resolution was passed:—

“That it having been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders of Hardware Limited that the company cannot profitably carry on its business it is therefore resolved that the company be wound up.

“That Charles Archibald Deuxberry, of Auckland, Registered Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.”

All persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 31st day of January, 1935.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of BRENAN AND COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 20th day of December, 1934, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £15,000 to £10,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 28th day of December, 1934. The said minute is in the words and figures following:—

“The capital of Brenan and Company, Limited, is £10,000 divided into 20,000 shares of 10s. each. At the date of the registration of this minute each of the shares in the company is deemed to be fully paid up.”

MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Masterton Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 1), the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Masterton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order, whether in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, or for the purpose of providing for cash premium payments, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the Masterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence half-penny (3½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable half-yearly on the first day of June and the first day of December in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the first day of December, 1960, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Masterton Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 2), the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the new securities authorized to be issued by the Masterton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of the existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence (4d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the North Ward Special-rating Area of the Borough of Masterton, being all that area of land in the North Ward of the Borough of
