Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road
in Blocks II and VI, Awakino East Survey District, Auckland
Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto
traverses Native land and has been used by the public
as a public road and has been formed and improved out of
public funds or the funds of the local authority :

And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on
the eighteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-three, and issued pursuant to section four hundred and
eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and
declared the said road to be a public road :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed
as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been
forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four
hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931 :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should
be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and
eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim
as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a
road :—

A. R. P. Being Portion of
18 1 0 Mahoenui No. 2 Block, Block VI, Awakino
East Survey District; coloured blue.
23 0 0 Mahoenui No. 1b Block, Blocks II and VI,
Awakino East Survey District, coloured red.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 7/703A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2717, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of
December, 1934.

Revocation of the Reservation of Portion of a Permanent State
Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and
pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses
of Parliament, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the
reservation as a permanent State forest of the area of land
described in the Schedule hereto (which reservation was
effected by Warrant dated the twenty-sixth day of July,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, and by the State
Forests Act, 1908).

SCHEDULE.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVA-
TION REGION.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing
by admeasurement 30 acres, more or less, and being Section 12,
Block IV, Tennyson Survey District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on plan No. 104/19, deposited in the
Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
January, 1935.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
provisional State forests described in the Schedule hereto as
permanent State forests.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION
REGION.

ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District, containing
approximately 78,109 acres, and described as follows :—

All that area containing approximately 51,710 acres,
being part of Provisional State Forest No. 31 (Gazette, 1920,
page 934—ordinary provisional State forest, 3,600 acres) and
Provisional State Forest No. 118 (Gazette, 1920, page 2109—
national-endowment provisional State forest, 48,110 acres),
situated in Blocks II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, and
XIII, Rintoul, Blocks VII, VIII, XI, XII, XIV, XV, and XVI,
Gordon, and Blocks II, III, VI, VII, X, and XI, Motupiko
Survey Districts, and bounded generally as follows : Towards
the north-east by a State forest (Gazette, 1931, page 1), a
provisional State forest (Gazette, 1919, page 1290), and a
State forest (Gazette, 1881, page 959), in the Marlborough
Land District ; towards the south and south-east by a State
forest (Gazette, 1881, page 959, and Gazette, 1932, page 2506) in
the Marlborough Land District to Ward’s Pass, and by Section 7
(accommodation reserve) in Block XIII aforesaid ; towards
the south-west, west, and again towards the south-east by
the edge of the bush to the Motueka River ; again towards
the south-east by the said river to a point in line with the
western boundary of Section 4 (accommodation reserve) in
Block III, Motupiko Survey District ; towards the east by
a right line to the most western corner of the said Section 4,
and by that section ; again towards the south by Sections 2
and 1, Block XI, Motupiko Survey District ; again towards
the east by the said Section 1 ; again towards the south-west
by Section 11, Block X, Motupiko Survey District ; again
towards the west by Sections 23 and 22, Block X, Section 10,
a public road, again by Section 10, and by Section 16, Block
VI, and Section 2, Block II, all of Motupiko Survey District ;
towards the north-west by Sections 19 and 4, Block II,
Motupiko Survey District, to and across the Motueka River ;
again towards the south-west by the said river to the edge of
the bush ; towards the north-west by the edge of the bush,
by Section 16, Block XIV, Gordon Survey District, again by
the edge of the bush, and again by the said Section 16 ; again
towards the north by the edge of the bush to the south-
western boundary of Section 1, Block XV, Gordon Survey
District ; again towards the north-east and north-west by the
said Section 1 ; again towards the west by Section 1, Block XI,
Gordon Survey District, and the edge of the bush ; again
towards the west and south-west by the said Section 1,
Block XI, Gordon Survey District ; again towards the west by
Section 5, Block XI, Gordon Survey District (State forest,
Gazette, 1886, page 209) ; and the edge of the bush to the
south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VII, Gordon
Survey District ; again towards the south-east by the said
south-eastern boundary ; again towards the south-west by

south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VII, Gordon

and west by the edge of the bush to the southern boundary

towards the north-west by Section 8 aforesaid ; again towards

Sections 4, 6, a public road, and Section 8, all of Block VIII,
Gordon Survey District ; again towards the north-west by
Section 8 aforesaid, a public road, and Section 7, Block VIII,
Gordon Survey District ; again towards the north-east by
Section 5, Block V, Rintoul Survey District, to and across a
public road ; again towards the west by the said public road ;
again towards the east by Section 11, Block V aforesaid ;
again towards the north by the said Section 11 and a public
road to and across the left branch of the Wairoa River ; again
towards the west by the said branch of the Wairoa River ;
again towards the north, west, and south-west by Section 10,
Block V, Rintoul Survey District ; again towards the west
by a road on the bank of the said left branch of the Wairoa
River ; again towards the north-west by Section 9, Block V
aforesaid, Section 14, Block II, Rintoul Survey District, and
Chrome Road ; again towards the east by Sections 13 and
15, Block II, Rintoul Survey District ; again towards the
