Revocation of the Reservation of Portion of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, whereby the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a permanent State forest, and declare that the reservation thereby effected is (so far as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres 3 roods, more or less, and being Section 40, Block I, Mangahao Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 86/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1934.

District under the Marriage Act, 1908, abolished.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Marriage Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Reefton and Lyell districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into one marriage district, the name and boundaries whereof shall be as follow:—

REEFTON DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Orikaka River with the Buller River; thence along the eastern watershed of the Orikaka River to the Lyell Range; thence along the summit of the Lyell Range to the watershed between the Newton Stream and the Matiri River; thence along the summit of the range over Mount Newton to the Buller River; thence by a right line across the Buller River and along the summit of the range between the Matakitaki and Maruia Rivers over Mount Mantell and Mount Cann to the summit of the main range near the source of the Maruia River; thence south-westerly along the summit of the watershed between the Maruia River and the Waiau River to the watershed between the Maruia River and the Grey River; thence along the summit of that watershed to Mount Haast; thence along the watershed between the Grey River and the Inangahua River to the saddle between the Mawhera-iti River and the Inangahua River; thence along a right line in the direction of the mouth of the Totara River to the summit of the Paparoa Range; thence along a right line to the confluence of the Orikaka River with the Buller River, the place of commencement.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of December, 1934.

District under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, abolished.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor-General by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Reefton and Lyell Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into one registration district, the name whereof shall be the Reefton District, and the boundaries whereof shall be conterminous with the boundaries of the marriage district bearing the same name as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908:

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of December, 1934.

Adding an Outer Area to the North Auckland Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that from the date hereof the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be an outer area of the North Auckland Electric-power District.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, comprising the Borough of Whangarei as at present constituted. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 88636, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, being thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of December, 1934.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Tokomairiro Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
