Lands in the North Auckland, Auckland, Gisborne, Taranaki, Wellington, Marlborough, and Canterbury Land Districts forfeited.

Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 5th December, 1934.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Land Boards of the respective land districts, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenure.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 5th December, 1934.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on optional tenure under the Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 14th January, 1935.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 16th January, 1935, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Mangonui County.—Opoe Survey District.

SECTIONS 18 and 22, Block VII: Area, 70 acres 0 roods 6 perches. Capital value, £95. Deposit on deferred payments, £5; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £2 18s. 6d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £1 18s.

Weighted with £8 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising two-roomed hut 18 ft. by 15 ft., walls of wood with iron roof.

Situated on the Waipapakauri–Hohoura Road, four miles from Waipapakauri and seven miles from Awanui, three miles of which is metalled and four miles formed sandy road. Soil is sandy loam resting on sandstone. All easy undulating warm country consisting of consolidated sand-dunes, and suitable for dairying and growing crops.

Education Reserve in Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 5th December, 1934.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the Lands Office, Taumarunui, at 11 o’clock a.m. on Wednesday, 16th January, 1935, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908, and amendments.
