Mining Privileges to be struck off the Register.—Notice under Section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926.
NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, that the mining privileges held under the licences mentioned in the Schedule hereto will, unless sufficient cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the Register of Mining Privileges at the expiration of three months from the date hereof.

Public Service Superannuation Fund.—Election of Members of the Board.
NOTICE is hereby given that an election will be held on Monday, the 4th day of March, 1935, for the purpose of electing, as members of the Public Service Superannuation Board, two representatives of the contributors who belong to the Post and Telegraph Department, one representative of the contributors who belong to the Police Force, and three representatives of the contributors who belong to other Departments of the Public Service.
The said election will be held at the office of the Public Service Superannuation Board, Police Building, Johnston Street, Wellington, C. 1.
A separate ballot will be taken of the contributors who belong to the Post and Telegraph Department, of the contributors who belong to the Police Force, and of the contributors who belong to other Departments of the Public Service.
Nominations will be received by the Returning Officer, in the form prescribed by Regulation 44 under the Public Service Superannuation Act, 1927, until Monday, the 28th day of January, 1935, at 4.30 o’clock p.m. The voting-lists will be closed on the same date.
The poll will close at 5 o’clock p.m. on the 4th March, 1935. Ballot-papers posted to the Returning Officer must reach him not later than 5 o’clock p.m. on the fifteenth day after the date of the closing of the poll. Ballot-papers, if delivered to the Returning Officer, must be so delivered in a sealed envelope not later than 5 o’clock p.m. on the day of the closing of the poll.

Existence of Shoal.
Position: Lat., 40° 41′·7 S.; long., 173° 58′·1 E., Chart No. 2684.
Details: A rocky ledge trending N.E.-S.W. for about 80 ft., with a least depth of 15 ft., is reported to exist in a position approximately 343°, 3 cables from Cape Stephens.
A further examination of the locality will be made at a later date.
