Limits of Harbour of Nelson defined.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS on the twentieth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-third day of the same month, at page 549, certain limits were defined for the Port of Nelson under the Marine Act, 1867 :
And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said definition and to define the limits of the Harbour of Nelson :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in me vested by section six of the Harbours Act, 1923, do hereby revoke the previous definition of the Port of Nelson, and do hereby declare that the limits of the Harbour of Nelson shall extend to and include all tidal waters of Nelson Haven and all waters comprised within the area enclosed by the arc of a circle having a radius of five miles from the easternmost point of Sandy or Rabbit Island. As the said area is more particularly shown and delineated on plan marked M.D. 7311, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Warrant appointing Conciliation Commissioner under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section forty of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Patrick Hally
to be a Conciliation Commissioner under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act; appointment to date from the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

Notice bringing Public Utility Reserves within the Operation of the Mining Act, 1926.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section twenty-five of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority in this behalf enabling, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be brought within the operation of the Mining Act, 1926, subject, however, to all existing timber rights; and do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect as from the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 32 acres 3 roods 29 perches and 43 acres, more or less, being respectively Sections 41 and 42 of Block IV, Waitakere Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked N. 6/4/20, and deposited in the office of the Mines Department at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Taieri River Trust: Appointment of Commissioner.
WHEREAS by Warrant dated the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in Gazette No. 35 of the eleventh day of the same month, Robert Brown Tennent, Esquire, Fields Superintendent, Agriculture Department, Dunedin, was appointed a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust, in terms of section three of the Taieri River Improvement Act, 1920 :
And whereas the said Robert Brown Tennent has resigned on account of the fact that he is leaving the district, and it is considered expedient to appoint another Commissioner in lieu of the said Robert Brown Tennent :
Now, therefore, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Minister of Lands, acting for and on behalf of John Bitchener, Minister of Public Works, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Taieri River Improvement Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby cancel the appointment of the said Robert Brown Tennent to be a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust, and do hereby appoint
James Moncrieff Smith, Esquire,
Fields Superintendent, Agriculture Department, Dunedin, to be a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust.
