Special meetings may be convened by the chairman, provided that two days’ notice of any such meeting is given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any four members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

If at any meeting the chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be chairman of such meeting.

If by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself without reasonable cause from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his stead.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

The Board shall have prepared and submitted at an annual meeting to be held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

The Board shall control the said reserve and any buildings erected thereon for the purposes of a ladies’ rest-room and a dental clinic, and may, subject to such conditions as it thinks fit, permit such buildings to be used by any public or social organization in Urenui and the surrounding district: Provided that the Board shall have power to fix reasonable charges for the use of any building under its control.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 19·39 perches, more or less, being parts of Section 78, Town of Urenui, Block III, Waitara Survey District: Bounded towards the north by other part of Section 78, 200 links; towards the east by Section 93, 60·6 links; towards the south by Section 79, 200 links, and towards the west by Ngakoti Street, 60·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/121A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces, published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five; and I do hereby declare that the amendments hereby made shall take effect as from the date of publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette, except where otherwise provided.

PARAGRAPHS 43, 46, 47, 47A, 47B, and 47C are hereby revoked, and the following substituted in lieu thereof, with effect on and from the 1st day of April, 1934:—
