of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Motueka Borough Council on the sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, the portions of streets affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—
“ The Motueka Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Motueka, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to those portions of the northern side of Poole Street and the eastern side of Michael Myers Street and coloured red on the accompanying plan ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Poole Street or fronting the eastern side of the portion of Michael Myers Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Nelson Land District, Borough of Motueka, known as Poole Street, fronting Lots 38 and 39, D.P. 1599, being part Section 160, N.R., Motueka Original District, Block IV, Motueka Survey District.
Also the eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the said land district and borough, known as Michael Myers Street, fronting Lot 39, D.P. 1599, being part Section 160, N.R., Motueka Original District, Block IV, Motueka Survey District.
As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 88392, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Southern Side of Portion of Poole Street, in the Borough of Motueka, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of December, 1934.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Motueka Borough Council on the fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, viz. :—
“ The Motueka Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Motueka, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the southern side of Poole Street fronting Lot 4, D.P. 1599, being part Section 160 (N.R.), Motueka Original, and coloured red on the accompanying plan ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of Poole Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

“ That the Southland County Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Township of Richmond Grove, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the portion of William Street adjoining part of Lot 2, Block II, Township of Richmond Grove ” ;
such portion of road being described in the Schedule hereto.

THE northern side of all that portion of road, situated in the Southland Land District, Southland County, known as William Street, fronting part Lot 2, Block II, Township of Richmond Grove. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 88521, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Urenui Public Reserve Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of December, 1934.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a ladies’ rest-room and a dental clinic : And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act) in the undermentioned persons, namely :—
Arthur Herbert Halcombe,
James Fredrick Phillips,
Willie John Davies Freeth,
Nerope Phillips,
Laura Mary Freeth,
Caroline Alice Carr,
Doris Ileen May Managh, and
Jane Beatrice Smith,
who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Urenui Public Reserve Board (hereinafter referred to as “ the Board ”), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say :—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the second Monday in each month, at one o’clock p.m., at the Urenui Hall, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Monday, the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

The members of the Board shall at their first meeting, and thereafter at the annual meeting hereinafter mentioned, elect one of themselves to be chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.
