His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the fifth day of that month, appointing a Domain Board to have control of the Berwick Domain, and doth hereby appoint
James Alexander Wither,
Charles Campbell,
George Lyall,
Eric Munro, and
Alexander Sinclair
to be the Berwick Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the eighth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Berwick Public Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £600 by the Dannevirke Fire Board and prescribing the Conditions thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of November, 1934.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the Dannevirke Fire Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”), being desirous of borrowing by way of bank overdraft the sum of six hundred pounds (£600) by a loan to be known as “Earthquake Reconstruction Loan, 1934” (hereinafter called “the said loan”), for the purpose of repairing and strengthening the fire station consequent upon damage sustained through the earthquake of the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the borrowing as aforesaid :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the said Act, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the borrowing by the said local authority by way of bank overdraft of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of six hundred pounds (£600), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows :—
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be six (6) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid from time to time in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall not exceed the current bank overdraft interest rate to best customers.
(3) The said loan shall be repaid by annual instalments of principal of not less than one hundred pounds (£100).
(4) No portion of interest on the said loan shall be paid out of loan-money.

Order in Council consenting to the Borrowing by the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees of the Sum of £3,000 by way of Bank Overdraft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of November, 1934.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees (hereinafter called the “said local authority”), being desirous of borrowing by way of bank overdraft (as authorized by section forty-one of the Local Legislation Act, 1934) the sum of three thousand pounds (£3,000) by a loan to be known as “Earthquake Damage Loan, 1934” (hereinafter called “the said loan”), for the purpose of providing funds for the purpose of effecting to buildings, the property of the trustees, repairs necessitated by the earthquake of the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General, as required by the said Act, should be given to the borrowing as aforesaid :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the said Act, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the borrowing by the said local authority for the said purpose, pursuant to the provisions of section forty-one of the Local Legislation Act, 1934, of the said loan by way of bank overdraft up to the amount of three thousand pounds (£3,000), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows :-
(1) The term for which the said loan may be borrowed shall not exceed five (5) years.
(2) The rate of interest payable from time to time in respect of the said loan shall not exceed the current bank-overdraft rate to best customers.
(3) The said loan shall be repaid by annual instalments of principal of not less than six hundred pounds (£600) during the first four years of the currency of the loan and the balance in the last year.
(4) No amount payable as either interest or instalment in respect of the said loan shall be paid out of loan-money.
(5) The consent herein given shall take effect as from the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of Part (£10,000) of the Petone Borough Council’s Loan of £35,000.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of December, 1934.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, consent was given to the raising by the Petone Borough Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of thirty-five thousand pounds (£35,000) by a loan to be known as “Street-widening Loan, 1930” (hereinafter called “the said loan”):
And whereas by section nine of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act, 1934, the authority conferred by the said Order in Council was revoked in so far as it had not been exercised, and it is not now lawful or competent for the said local authority to borrow any moneys to which the said Order in Council relates except in accordance with the provisions of an Order in Council that may be made under section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926:
And whereas it is expedient to authorize the said local authority to borrow on the conditions hereinafter mentioned the sum of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) (hereinafter called “the said sum”), being part of the moneys to which the said Order in Council relates ;
