THE GUARDIAN, TRUST, AND EXECUTORS COMPANY
OF NEW ZEALAND, LIMITED.
I, RICHARD FROUDE WARD, Manager of the Guardian, Trust, and Executors Company of New Zealand, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £100,000, divided into 20,000 shares of £5 each.
- That the number of shares issued is 20,000.
- That calls to the amount of five pounds (£5) per share have been made, under which the sum of £100,000 has been received.
- That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates on the 1st day of July last is £10,835,267 16s. 8d.
- That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates on that day is £10,816,125 2s. 2d.
- That the amount of the balances due to estates under administration on that day is £19,142 14s. 6d.
- That the liabilities of the company as on the 1st day of July last were £5,215 4s. 4d.
- That the assets of the company on that day were £121,876 13s. 4d.
- That the first annual license was issued on the 10th day of March, 1911.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

In the matter of the Partnership Act, 1908, and in the matter of a certain partnership between JAMES FERGUSON BIRRELL (Senior), and JAMES FERGUSON BIRRELL (Junior), of Dominion Road, Auckland, Motor Engineers.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between JAMES FERGUSON BIRRELL (Senior), and JAMES FERGUSON BIRRELL (Junior), carrying on business as Motor Engineers at Dominion Road, Auckland, under the style or firm of “Birrell and Sons,” has been dissolved as from the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

In the matter of the Partnership Act, 1908, and in the matter of a certain partnership between ARTHUR DAVID MAXWELL STUART and RONALD HENRY STUART, of Great South Road, Auckland, Motor Mechanics, carrying on business as “Stuart Brothers.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between ARTHUR DAVID MAXWELL STUART and RONALD HENRY STUART, carrying on business as Motor Mechanics and Service-station Proprietors at Great South Road, Auckland, under the style or firm of “Stuart Brothers,” has been dissolved as from the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE WELLSFORD CATTLE-DIPPING COMPANY, LTD. (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that on the fifth day of October, 1934, in pursuance of section 221 of the Companies Act, 1933, the following special resolution was passed:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that HERBERT MURRAY SMITH, of Wellsford, be appointed liquidator.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
The Wellington City Renewal Loan, 1935.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of ninety thousand pounds (£90,000), to be known as The Wellington City Renewal Loan, 1935, authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of four loans of five thousand pounds (£5,000), thirty-three thousand pounds (£33,000), ninety-eight thousand pounds (£98,000), and twelve thousand three hundred pounds (£12,300), maturing respectively on the 31st day of December, 1934, the 1st day of February, 1935, the 1st day of October, 1935, and the 1st day of October, 1935, the said Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twelve one-hundredths of a penny (12/100d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the City of Wellington, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of sixteen (16) years from the 31st day of December, 1934, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 18th day of October, 1934.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the formation of a road, for which purpose the following lands require to be taken by the Waikato County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and 23, that is to say:—
- All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement three roods thirty-six perches (more or less), being portion of Allotment Number Two hundred and sixty-three of the Parish of Kirikiriroa.
- All that piece or parcel of land in the said Provincial District, containing by admeasurement two roods (more or less), being Allotment Number Two hundred and thirty-two A of the Parish of Kirikiriroa.
- All that piece or parcel of land in the said Provincial District, containing by admeasurement twenty-five perches (more or less), being part of Lot Three on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 4568.
A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the office of the Waikato County Council. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Waikato County Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
