IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
John James Miller, of Inglewood,
to be an officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act in respect of the Stratford Acclimatization District.

Major W. A. Gray, M.C., Corps of N.Z. Engineers, relinquishes command of the 1st Field Company, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b) R.D. 1. Dated 29th September, 1934.
Captain L. F. Rudd, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, to be Major, and is appointed to command the 1st Field Company. Dated 30th September, 1934.
QUEEN ALEXANDRA’S (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
2nd Lieutenant W. McM. Davis to be Lieutenant. Dated 21st May, 1934.
THE OTAGO MOUNTED RIFLES.
The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) N. L. Berry is confirmed.

Lieutenant M. Henry, Regimental Supernumerary List, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 4. Dated 28th September, 1934.
THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.
Lieutenant A. H. Johnston, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 1. Dated 8th October, 1934.
THE WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT.
Lieutenant J. L. Thomson, 2nd Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Taranaki Regiment. Dated 1st October, 1934.
THE TARANAKI REGIMENT.
Lieutenant J. L. Thomson, from the Wellington West Coast Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 24th June, 1933, and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 1st October, 1934.
THE CANTERBURY REGIMENT.
Lieutenant E. Lunn, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 10. Dated 5th October, 1934.
