Alteration of Name of Company approved under Section 22 of the Administration Act, 1908.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the Standard Insurance Company, Limited, is identical with the Standard Fire and Marine Insurance Company of New Zealand (Limited), which was approved by the Governor in Council on 21st March, 1910, for the purposes of section 22 of the Administration Act, 1908.
It is hereby further notified that by order of the Supreme Court of 21st March, 1922, the alteration of the name of the company to the Standard Insurance Company, Limited, was duly confirmed.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said persons (either by their own or any fictitious or assumed names), or addressed to any of the addresses in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Sale of Unclaimed Bicycles.

IT is hereby notified that a number of unclaimed bicycles in the hands of the police at Christchurch Police Station will, if not claimed before Saturday, the 1st September, 1934, be sold thereafter by public auction.
Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Superintendent of Police at Christchurch.
