National-endowment Lands set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same are hereby, set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.β€”NATIONAL-ENDOWMENT LANDS.
RURAL Section 36231, Block I, Waimate Survey District, and Block IV, Waihao Survey District: Area, 2,000 acres.
Rural Sections 13991, 18212, 20669, 31675, 33005, and 33006, Block I, Waimate Survey District: Area, 98 acres 3 roods 30 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of January, 1933.

Land taken for River-protection Purposes in Block I, Kairanga Survey District, Kairanga County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for river-protection purposes, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County
of Kairanga as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 7 acres 3 roods 28Β·7 perches.
Being portion of Lot 273, D.P. 29, and being part Section 145, Township of Sandon.
Situated in Block I, Kairanga Survey District. (S.O. 2873.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86647, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of January, 1934.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for Street Purposes and for the Purposes of a Site for Sewers, a Site for Water-supply Pipes and Articles ancillary thereto, and a Site for Lines to be used for conveying Electricity, including Wires and other Conductors, Posts, Poles, and other Supports, and Articles and Instruments ancillary thereto, and (subject to the Purposes aforesaid) for the Purposes of Access for Fire-prevention, in the Borough of Napier.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 62, of the twenty-second day of the same month, at page 2025, taking land for street purposes, and for the purposes of a site for sewers, a site for water-supply pipes and articles ancillary thereto, and a
