NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 4th day of July, 1934, cancelled the registry of Waimakariri Lodge, No. 137, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of New Zealand Friendly Society (Register No. 146/199), held at Kaiapoi, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned OWEN McDONNELL and RUSSELL McMILLAN, carrying on business as Motor Engineers at Thames under the style or firm of “McDonnell and McMillan,” has been dissolved as from the 1st day of July, 1934. All debts due to and owing by the said partnership will be received and paid respectively by A. W. Christmas, Esquire, Accountant, P.O. Box 1413, Auckland. As from the said 1st day of July, 1934, the said Owen McDonnell will carry on the business of Motor Engineer on his own behalf in the premises heretofore used by the said partnership.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 3rd day of July, 1934, the following resolution was passed by the company by entry in its minute-book signed by all shareholders :—
“ That the company of New Caddells, Limited, be wound up voluntarily, and that Messrs. J. B. GILMORE and H. E. DAVIES, of Auckland, be and they are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.”
Creditors of the above company are required to send full particulars of their claims to the undersigned at Bank of New Zealand Chambers, Swanson Street, Auckland, on or before 20th July, 1934.

AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.
LOAN CONVERSION.
HEREBY certify that the following resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Amuri County Council held at 1.30 p.m. on the 1st day of June, 1934, and confirmed at the ordinary monthly meeting held on the 6th day of July, 1934 :-
“ That, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Amuri County Loan Conversion Order, 1934, the Amuri County Council resolves to issue new securities in conversion of the existing securities to which the said Order relates, namely, the Lyndon Special-rating Area Mason Bridge Loan of £4,200, such new securities to be issued in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Amuri County Loan Conversion Order, 1934.”

AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.
CONVERSION under the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Amuri County Loan Conversion Order, 1934, of debentures issued in respect of the following loan :-

Notice is hereby given to the holders of debentures issued by the Amuri County Council in respect of the abovementioned loan that it is intended to convert all such debentures (except those in respect of which dissent is duly signified) into new debentures having new maturity dates and bearing interest at four and one-quarter per centum per annum in denominations of £735 including part of the premium mentioned hereunder. The balance of the premium on each debenture, being eight shillings and twopence, shall be paid in cash.
Premium payable per £100 of existing securities, £5 1s. 2d. The conversion will take effect from the 1st day of August, 1934.
Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the security to which it relates.
Dissent from the conversion of any existing debentures may be signified by the holder by notice in writing delivered to the County Clerk, Culverden, on or before the 15th day of August, 1934.
If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures is not received by that date the securities will be converted. The rate of interest on any debentures in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from the 1st day of August, 1934.
Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the County Clerk, Culverden.
