SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Otorohanga County.—Mangaorongo Survey District.

SECTION 18, Block IV: Area, 417 acres 3 roods 17 perches. Upset capital value, £315.

A dairying and grazing property, situated on the Te Kawa-Wharepuhanga Road, fourteen miles from Te Awamutu Post-office, Railway-station, Dairy Factory, and Saleyards by a metalled road, three miles and a half from Korakonui School. The section is in its natural state (fern and tutu), about half the area being easy to undulating country, the balance broken with outcrop of rhyolite and sandstone; free of noxious weeds. The soil is a light loam resting on sandstone and rhyolite formation and is watered by springs and the Mangatutu River.

(NOTE.—The selector will be liable in terms of the Fencing Act, 1908, in respect to 76½ chains of rabbit-proof fencing on southern boundary Rangitoto A No. 4, and arrangements in this connection will require to be made by the selector with the adjoining owners.)

Land in Taranaki Land District for Selection on Optional Tenure.

District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 4th July, 1934.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on optional tenure under the Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, the 23rd July, 1934.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, the 25th July, 1934, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.


SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Waitomo County.—Aria Survey District.

SECTION 12, Block II: Area, 204 acres. Capital value, £510*. Deposit on deferred payments, £25; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £15 15s. 3d. Renewable lease: half-yearly rent, £10 4s.

  • Improvements included in capital value comprise 45½ acres original felling and grassing, old building, 20 chains fencing, and are valued at £128 13s. 5d.

Weighted with £800 for improvements, comprising dwelling (fair order), two sheds, cow-byre and yards, fencing, draining, felling and grassing. This amount may be paid in cash or taken over by way of first mortgage to the State Advances Superintendent for a term of thirty years with interest at the rate of 6 per cent. per annum.

This property is situated on the Paro Road, about nine miles from Aria Post-office and Dairy Factory, three miles from Kaeaea School, and thirty-three miles from Te Kuiti Railway-station. Access is by metalled road from Te Kuiti. The soil is loam resting on part papa and clay formation and is watered by running streams. The land is of fair quality, approximately 40 acres being white-pine swamp, and a further 20 acres in flat land, and the balance easy to hilly. Approximately 164 acres have been felled and grassed, of which about 100 acres is in fair pasture.

Village Land in the Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public auction for cash at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, at 2.30 o’clock p.m. on Thursday, 19th July, 1934, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.


SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—VILLAGE LAND.

Waimarino County.—Rangataua Village Settlement.

SECTIONS 1, 2, and 3, Block IX: Area, 3 acres 2 roods. Upset price, £17 10s.

Weighted with £221 10s. for improvements, consisting of dwelling (six rooms) and outbuildings (washhouse and woodshed), 13 chains road-fencing, 24 chains boundary-fencing, shelter-trees, and felling and grassing. This amount may be paid in cash or by a deposit of £12, and of the balance £100 secured to the State Advances Superintendent on table mortgage, term, thirty years, interest, 6 per cent. per annum, and £109 10s. to the Public Trustee, repayable by half-yearly instalments of principal of £5, with interest at the rate of 5 per cent. per annum. The mortgage to the State Advances Superintendent will be a first mortgage, and that to the Public Trustee a second mortgage.

These are level sections, in poor quality pasture, having frontage to Kaha Street. Access is from Rangataua Railway-station, which is half a mile distant by metalled road.
