The Arms Act, 1920.—Appointment of Authorized Officers.

Police Department,
Wellington, 29th June, 1934.

Pursuant to the regulations under the Arms Act, 1920,
I, Ward George Wohlmann, the Commissioner of Police,
do hereby appoint the officers of police mentioned in the
Schedule hereto to be authorized officers for the purposes
of the said Act.

All previous notices published in the Gazette relating to
the appointment of authorized officers for the purposes
aforesaid are hereby revoked.

Senior-Sergeants of Police.

(2) The senior member of the Force for the time being in

Notice is hereby given that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of section 54 of the Land Act, 1924, approved of the meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Land Board, previously fixed for the 12th July, 1934, being held on the 18th July, 1934.

In exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Counties Amendment Act, 1931, the Mackenzie County Council resolves and declares by way of a special order that sections 121 and 131 of the Counties Act, 1920, shall not apply to the Council.
