SCHEDULE.
Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points: Block XIV, Bruce Bay Survey District. Starting in Flagstaff Creek at a point 65 chains upstream from the Main Road and terminating at the powerhouse in Section No. 2452 with consent of owner (W. A. Condon).
Length and intended course of race: 52 chains west by north.
Points of intake: Flagstaff Creek.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Nine months; £2,000.
Mean depth and breadth: About 12 chains will be by means of race 6 ft. by 5 ft., and the remainder will be by means of pipe-line.
Number of heads to be diverted: Forty heads.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Sawmilling.
Proposed term of license: Forty-two years, and as per sketch plan filed herewith.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.
N OTICE is hereby given that the King-country Picture Company, Limited, has changed its name to Associated Cinemas, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

AWATERE COUNTY COUNCIL.
T HE undermentioned resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Awatere County Council on the 11th day of May, 1934. It was confirmed at a special meeting on the 7th day of June, 1934, notice thereof having appeared in the Marlborough Express on the 23rd and 30th day of May, 1934.
Resolution: “That in pursuance of the powers contained in the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and in pursuance of the powers under the Awatere County Loans Conversion Orders, 1934, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 31 of the 4th May, 1934, No. 1, page 1320, No. 2, page 1326, and No. 3, page 1328, the Awatere County Council doth hereby resolve to proceed with the conversion of the said Council’s loans in terms of such Orders and to issue new securities in conversion of existing securities to which such Orders apply, subject to and in accordance with the provisions of such Orders.”

Notice is hereby given to the holders of debentures or other securities issued by the Awatere County Council in respect of the above-mentioned loans that it is intended to convert all such debentures or other securities (except those in respect of which dissent is duly signified) into new debentures having new maturity dates and bearing interest at 4½ per cent. per annum.
The conversion will take effect from the 1st day of July, 1934. Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the securities to which it relates.
Dissent from conversion of any existing debentures or other securities may be signified by the holder by notice in writing delivered to J. H. Woolley, Treasurer, Awatere County Council, P.O. Box 21, Seddon, on or before the expiry of fourteen days from the date of conversion—namely, the 1st day of July, 1934.
If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures or other securities is not received by that date the securities will be converted.
The rate of interest on any debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from the 1st day of July, 1934.
Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from J. H. Woolley, County Clerk, Seddon.

SALVO LTD.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
Notice of creditors’ voluntary winding-up pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933.
N OTICE is hereby given that Salvo Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 176 Hereford Street is in voluntary liquidation, the following extraordinary resolution having been passed by the company on Saturday, 9th June, 1934:—
“That this company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up.”
