NEW ZEALAND.—SOUTH ISLAND.—FOVEAUX STRAIT.
(1) Shoal located: (2) Trees on Bushy Point: (3) Toby Rock: (4) Chart correction.
(1) Position: 070°, 1 mile from Fairchild Rock, lat., 46° 43′·5 S.; long., 168° 43′ E. (approx.).
Details: A rocky shoal with a least depth of 2½ fathoms M.L.W.S. has been located in the above position. The shoal extends about 300 ft. in a north-south direction and about 150 ft. in an east-west direction, and has depths of 10 fathoms close around.
(2) Position: Northern clump, lat., 46° 36′·0 S.; long., 168° 33′·4 E. Southern clump, lat., 46° 36′·2 S.; long., 168° 33′·5 E.
Remark: These are the conspicuous and well-known trees on Bushy Point.
(3) Position: Lat., 46° 44′ S.; long., 168° 38′·7 E. (approx.).
Details: Toby Rock is reported to lie 340°, about 6 cables from its charted position.
(4) Position: 156° 118 yards from No. 3 Beacon, Bluff Harbour.
Details: The 13 ft. patch in this position is to be expunged, and a depth of 23 ft. inserted.

Notice to Mariners No. 24 of 1934.

NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—AUCKLAND HARBOUR.
Signal-station to be transferred.
Position: Lat., 36° 50′ S.; long., 174° 48′ E. (approx.).
Details: The signal-station on King’s Wharf is to be transferred to the old station on Mount Victoria from where, on and after 1st June, 1934, all signalling will be carried out by day and by night. In the event of Mount Victoria being obscured by thick weather, communication will be made from the signal-tower on Queen’s Wharf.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.
THE Marine Department has discontinued the practice of republishing ordinary Notices to Mariners received from other countries.
Notices received from the Admiralty, Australia, Tasmania, and Suva, are available for inspection at the office of the Superintendent of Mercantile Marine at all ports in the Dominion visited by overseas ships.
Notices received from America, India, and Japan are available for inspection at the Nautical Adviser’s Office.
