PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
John Thomas Harraway,
being an officer in the service of the Crown holding the office of Postmaster at Pukerua, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of April, 1934.

Appointing a Member of the Wairau Harbour Board.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS it is provided by subsection three of section thirty-eight of the Harbours Act, 1923, that in the event of an extraordinary vacancy in the office of a non-elective member of a Harbour Board the Governor-General shall, by Warrant under his hand, appoint some qualified person in his place :
And whereas Thom Pike, a non-elective member of the Wairau Harbour Board, is deceased, and an extraordinary vacancy in the membership of the Board has thereby been created, and it is desirable to appoint a qualified person in his place :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, doth hereby appoint
Reginald Hawkins
to be a member of the Wairau Harbour Board in the place of the said Thom Pike (deceased).
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 24th day of April, 1934.

Warrant authorizing the Waikato County Council to construct a Bridge over the Waikato River, near Hamilton (together with Approaches thereto), and apportioning the Cost.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by section one hundred and thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Waikato County Council to construct the bridge (together with approaches thereto) described in the Schedule hereto ; and I do also declare that the cost thereof, less the contribution being made thereto by the Government of New Zealand, shall be borne by the Waikato County Council, the Hamilton Borough Council, and the Waipa County Council in the following proportions—viz., the Waikato County Council shall pay four-ninths of such cost, and the Hamilton Borough Council shall pay four-ninths of such cost, and the Waipa County Council shall pay one-ninth of such cost respectively ; and I do further direct that any contribution hereby required to be made as aforesaid by the Hamilton Borough Council and the Waipa County Council shall be paid from time to time, in the proportion hereinbefore prescribed, out of the funds of the said Councils within a period of one month after demand in writing made by or on behalf of the Waikato County Council, and all such payments shall be made from time to time to the Clerk of the Waikato County Council for and on behalf of the said Councils.
SCHEDULE.
That bridge in the Auckland Land District, over the Waikato River, near Hamilton, opposite Allotment 178, Kirikiriroa Parish, to be known as the Fairfield Bridge (together with approaches thereto). As the site of the said bridge and approaches is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86977, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of April, 1934.
