ONE TREE HILL BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the One Tree Hill Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1933 (No. 3), the One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That the resolution of 10th January, 1934, making special rate, appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of 18th January, 1934, page 72, be and is hereby rescinded and the following substituted therefor :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the One Tree Hill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities to which the said Order applies issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that order, viz:—

“And also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities in respect of such loans, the said One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of elevenpence and seventy-three one-hundredths of a penny (11⁷³/₁₀₀d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the special-rating area comprising that portion of the One Tree Hill Borough as hereby defined:—
“Commencing at Lot 1 at the south corner of the intersection of Green Lane with the Great South Road, the line of the south-west side of the latter as far as the south-eastern boundary of Lot 8 on D.P. 16452; along the same and the south-east boundary of Lots 24, 23, 22, 21, and the east boundaries of Lot 20 and the south-west boundary of same, 390 links; thence along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 6, William Avenue, along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 30, 47, 68, and 81, Hospital Endowment Reserve, along Massey Avenue to Lot 92; thence along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 92; thence across Allotment 16 in a south-westerly direction to the road reserve on the north-western boundary of Allotment 16 at a point 4½ chains from Campbell Road, along the road reserve to its intersection with Arawa Street, along Arawa Street to the south-western corner of Lot 35, Cadman Settlement, across Arawa Street, and along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 52, the south-western boundary of Lot 62, Cadman Settlement, to Ngapuhi Street, along Ngapuhi Street in a south-westerly direction to the south-eastern corner of Lot 27, Horotutu Road, along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 27 to Horotutu Road, along Horotutu Road to Tawa Road, along Tawa Road to Kowhai Road, along Kowhai Road to the south-eastern corner of Lot 19; thence to the Onehunga Boundary. Along the Onehunga Boundary to Campbell Road, along Campbell Road in a south-westerly direction to the Grand Drive at the south-eastern corner of Lot 265, along the south and east side of the Grand Drive to its intersection with Green Lane at Lot 177, and thence along Green Lane in an easterly direction to the commencing point.
“Also the whole of the education endowment, bounded on the west by the east side of Manukau Road, on the north by Haydn Avenue and the One Tree Hill Domain, and on the east by the Cornwall Park, and on the south by the Onehunga Borough.
“Also, commencing at the north-west corner of the Recreation Reserve (Allotment 54), bounded on the west by the eastern side of Manukau Road to Golf Road, along the northern side of Golf Road to Malakoff Street; thence to the south-western corner of Lot 21 of Allotment 22, along the south boundary of Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland, to the south-eastern corner of same; thence along the western boundary of the One Tree Hill Domain to the point of commencement at Manukau Road;
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable annually on the first day of June in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of February, 1963, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”
We, the undersigned, hereby certify that the above is a true copy of and extract from the minutes of the proceedings of the One Tree Hill Borough Council held on the 18th day of April, 1934.

WAITOMO ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Waitomo Electric-power Board Loans Conversion Order, 1934, of the 13th day of March, 1934, the Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Waitomo Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and thirty one-hundredths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Waitomo Electric-power District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of August, 1964, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

THE SIMS HARDWARE COMPANY, LTD.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of The Sims Hardware Company, Ltd. (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above company will be held at 12 noon on the 7th day of May, 1934, at the office of the Liquidator, 102 Featherston Street, Wellington, for the purpose of enabling the Liquidator to lay before such meeting an account showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and to offer any explanation he may wish to give, and for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, passing as an extraordinary resolution, the following resolution:—
“Resolved that the accounts as submitted by the Liquidator be and are hereby approved, and that the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator be retained by the Liquidator for a period of one year from the date hereof after which time they may be destroyed by the Liquidator.”
