Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration.

Wellington, 10th April, 1934.
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to and in exercise
of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by
section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act,
1925, the registration of the industrial associations and
unions mentioned in the Schedule below will, unless cause
to the contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of
six weeks from the date hereof.

Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 10th April, 1934.
NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—PORT NICHOLSON.
Steeple Rock Buoy to be shifted: Beacon to be erected.
Previous Notice: No. 8 of 1934.
Position: Lat., 41° 19′ 4 S.; long., 174° 50′ 8 E. (approx.).
Details: On or after the 12th instant the black buoy off
Steeple Rock will be moved about 300 ft. northward of its
site pending the placing of the concrete beacon in position.
The beacon will be erected as soon thereafter as weather
conditions permit, and, until the permanent light is adjusted,
will exhibit a fixed white light from the top of the structure.
Further notice will be given.

Soundings on Kaipara Bar.
Position: Lat., 36° 26′ S.; long., 174° 00′ E. (approx.).
Details: On the 31st March, Captain C. G. Turner, S.s.
“Abel Tasman,” crossed the bar with the rear beacon open
its own width north of the lighthouse, and obtained a least
depth of 24 ft. M.L.W.S.

Notice to Mariners No. 18 of 1934.
Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 11th April, 1934.
NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—AUCKLAND HARBOUR.
Dredging Operations.
MARINERS are hereby informed that the Dredger
“Hapai” commenced dredging operations between
the Queen’s and Prince’s wharves on the 11th instant.
The dredger, with a hopper barge on each side, is moored
in a north and south direction, and has six moorings laid
out in north, south-east, and west directions.
A red ball by day and a red light at night will be exhibited
from the yardarm on the side on which vessels should pass.
