HE whakaatu tenei ki a katoa i runga, i te whakahaerenga o nga tikanga o tekiona 5 (1) o te Ture Whakatikatika i te Ture Kaunihera Maori, 1903, kua whakaturia e te Kaunihera Maori mo te Takiwa Kaunihera Maori o Horouta hei Komiti Marae mo te kainga e huaina i raro ake nei nga tangata e mau ake nei nga ingoa.

Waitomo County Council.—Cancellation of Unexercised Loan Authorities.
In the matter of section 118 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.
WHEREAS the Waitomo County Council has been duly authorized to borrow, by way of the special loans mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto, the respective amounts specified therein for the construction of roads, and the consent of the Governor-General in Council thereto was given by Orders in Council as indicated in the third column of the said Schedule:
And whereas it has not been found necessary to borrow the whole of the amounts so authorized:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has duly notified the Waitomo County Council in writing of his intention to cancel the loan authorities in so far as they have not been exercised:
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers in that behalf conferred upon me by section 118 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, as amended by section 46 of the Finance Act, 1931 (No. 4), and of all other powers me in this behalf enabling, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Finance, do hereby cancel the authority of the Waitomo County Council to borrow, under the loan authorities referred to in the first column of the said Schedule, the respective sums stated in the second column of the said Schedule, being the amounts in respect of which the said loan authorities have not been exercised.

Oamaru Borough Council.—Cancellation of Unexercised Loan Authority.
In the matter of section 118 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.
WHEREAS the Oamaru Borough Council has been duly authorized to borrow by way of special loan the sum of ninety-six thousand seven hundred and twenty-eight pounds (£96,728) for drainage and water-works, and the consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loan was given by Order in Council made on the 22nd day of October, 1924, and published in the Gazette on the 30th day of the same month at page 2601:
And whereas in respect of the said sum of £96,728 there has been raised and borrowed for the purposes aforesaid the sum of ninety-one thousand five hundred pounds (£91,500) and it has not been found necessary to borrow the whole of the amount so authorized:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has duly notified the Oamaru Borough Council in writing of his intention to cancel the loan authority in so far as it has not been exercised:
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers in that behalf conferred upon me by section 118 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, as amended by section 46 of the Finance Act, 1931 (No. 4), and of all other powers me in this behalf enabling, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Finance, do hereby cancel the authority of the Oamaru Borough Council to borrow under the loan authority hereinbefore referred to, the sum of five thousand two hundred and twenty-eight pounds (£5,228) being an amount in respect of which the said loan authority has not been exercised: Provided always that this cancellation is without prejudice to the validity in all respects of the amount of £91,500 already borrowed pursuant to the said loan authority.

Excluding Land from Waimiha Development Scheme.
WHEREAS notice was published in the Gazette of 13th March, 1930, that the Native Minister had decided to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929, to Rangitoto-Tuhua 77B 1A and other subdivisions of Native land or land owned by Natives in the Waikato-Maniapoto Native Land Court district; and whereas the Native Minister has now decided that the block mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall no longer be subject to the provisions of subsection (3) of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, it is hereby notified that such land is excluded from the said Waimiha Development Scheme accordingly.

THE following land situate in the Tangitu Survey District in the Waikato-Maniapoto Native Land Court district:—

WHEREAS notice was published in the Gazette of the 22nd June, 1933, of the Native Minister’s intention to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, to Te Kahikatea and other blocks and known as the Tikitere Development Scheme. Now, therefore, I, the said Native Minister, do decide to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of the said section 522 to the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto as a part of such scheme and hereby give notice of my intention accordingly.
No owner, except with the consent of the Native Minister, is entitled to exercise any rights of ownership in connection with the land affected so as to interfere with or obstruct the carrying-out of the development scheme.
