Otara Survey District, Southland County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles Baron Bledisloe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim as a road the land in Otara Survey District
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby
proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a
road: 3 roods 21 perches.
Being portion of Section 24; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 roods
37 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 21 and 24; coloured
green.
Situated in Block I, Otara Survey District (Southland R.D.).

All in the Southland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 87037,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of
April, 1934.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XIX, Takaka
Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
twenty-third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-four.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
A. R. P. Being Portion of
0 0 8 Section 6, coloured yellow.
2 3 23 Section 4, coloured red.
Situated in Block XIX, Takaka Survey District. (S.O.

In the Nelson Land District; as the same are more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82893, de-
posited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wel-
ington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of
April, 1934.

Appointment of Members of the Taranaki Maori Trust Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of
March, 1934.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the provisions of section forty-nine of the
Native Purposes Act, 1931, and of the regulations made
thereunder in respect of the Taranaki Maori Trust Board and
any other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint the persons whose names are
set out in the Schedule hereto to be the members of the said
Taranaki Maori Trust Board constituted under the said section
forty-nine.

Nohomairangi te Whiti, of Pungarehu.
Pouwhareumu Toi, of Weriweri Pa, Okaiawa.

Declaring Road-lines intersecting Land in Galatea Settlement,
Auckland Land District, to be closed, and the Land comprised
therein to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS a report has been received from the Surveyor-
General from which it appears that the roads de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto are unformed and unused, and
that the said roads intersect land acquired under the Land
for Settlements Act, 1925, and are not suitable to the sub-
division of such land:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and
six of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and of all other
powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby close the roads hereinafter described; and I do
hereby declare that the land comprised in the said roads shall
thereupon become subject to the Land for Settlements Act,
1925.
