NOTICE is hereby given that on the expiry of three months from the date hereof the India-Rubber, Gutta-Percha, and Telegraph Works Company, Limited, intends to cease carrying on business in New Zealand.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of CHAPMAN AND CO., LTD.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was signed by all the shareholders of the company on the 4th day of November, 1933 :—

“It is hereby resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that HAROLD WILLIAM STEWART CHAPMAN, Company-manager, of Akaroa, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 10th day of January, 1934, to send their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any) to the undersigned, P.O. Box 214, Dunedin, and if so required by notice in writing are by their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between CHARLES ALLAN NETTING and GEORGE CAMPBELL O’MALLEY, carrying on the business of Contractors, at Waiau, under the name “Netting and O’Malley,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirtieth day of November, 1933. All accounts owing by the said partnership will be paid by the said George Campbell O’Malley, who is now carrying on the said contracting business on his own account.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held on the 25th day of November, 1933, the following resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly convened and held on the 12th day of December, 1933, the same resolution was duly confirmed as a special resolution, namely :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

By a further resolution passed at the last-named meeting Messrs. JAMES LOMBARD WEBB, THOMAS HUGH MACKY, and FREDERICK WATERSTON MATTHEWS were appointed Liquidators of the company.

Canterbury District.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of BARRETT’S LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office and carrying on business at Ashburton.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court dated the 12th day of December, 1933, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £9,000 to £6,000 (such reduction being effected by payment to the shareholders of the company of portion of the paid-up capital) and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Christchurch on the 14th day of December, 1933. The said minute is in the words and figures following :—

“The capital of Barrett’s Limited is £6,000 divided into 12,000 shares of ten shillings each, instead of £9,000 divided into 9,000 shares of one pound each. At the date of the registration of this minute each of the said 12,000 shares of ten shillings each is to be deemed to be fully paid up.”
